FREEDOMNEWS TV<\/p>\n<p>Medics rushed the 24-year-old pedestrian\u00a0to NYC Health and Hospitals\/Elmhurst, where he\u2019s listed in critical\u00a0condition.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The other victim, whose age and identity police are trying to verify, died at the scene.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.70951586;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"38072108\" width=\"1009\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/nyc-hit-and-run-driver-118112678.jpg\" alt=\"crime scene photo\" class=\"wp-image-38072108\"  \/>The deadly driver fled the area after the crash.
