The victim was knifed in the arm and hip around 6:50 a.m. during a fight with an \u201cunidentified individual\u201d in front of an apartment building on West 28th Street near Tenth Avenue, just down the\u00a0block from the iconic elevated park, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He\u00a0was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition, authorities said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a separate attack later in the morning, a 40-year-old man was stabbed and left seriously hurt during a bloody Queens brawl, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The early-morning New Year\u2019s Day knifing stemmed from a dispute, cops said.<\/p>\n
He was knifed in the chest and stomach around 10:35 a.m. at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Menahan Street in Ridgewood, authorities said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The wounded man was rushed to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where he was listed in critical but stable condition, cops said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The assailant took off and no arrests have been made, according to authorities.<\/p>\n
