Robyn<\/a> debuted two new songs during a New Year\u2019s Eve show in New York.<\/p>\n

The Swedish pop icon performed at Brooklyn Paramount for a concert billed as \u201cRobyn and friends,\u201d which included sets from Kindness<\/a>, Olof Dreijer, Danny Krivit and Dee Diggs.<\/p>\n

Along with her well known hits, the show saw Robyn debut two new songs \u2013 \u2018Talk To Me\u2019 and \u2018Sexistential\u2019.<\/p>\n

The former is an upbeat disco-pop song which sees NME\u00a0Songwriter Of The Decade winner<\/a> singing the lyrics: \u201cJust hit me up and talk to me\u201c.<\/p>\n

The latter meanwhile, is a darker moodier track filled with heavy beats. You can listen to both below.<\/p>\n

@Robyn premiered her new song, \u201cSexistential\u201d last night for NYE at Brooklyn Paramount. Starting the year off with yet another icon! #robyn<\/a> #concerts<\/a> #nye<\/a> #brooklynparamount<\/a> #popstar<\/a> <\/p>\n

During the set, she also performed \u2018Dancing On My Own\u2019 and early hit \u2018Show Me Love\u2019.<\/p>\n

She is due to perform at the same venue again tonight (January 2).<\/p>\n

Earlier, Robyn performed in Times Square during Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper\u2019s annual shindig, which saw her perform her recent single \u2018Dopamine\u2019.<\/p>\n

It comes after she made her live return at the Fonda Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles for her first full performance since 2019, in November 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Robyn hasn\u2019t released an album since 2018\u2019s critically acclaimed \u2018Honey<\/a>\u2018,\u00a0but speculation about her imminent return was fuelled last September<\/a> when her longtime collaborator, Klas \u00c5hlund, appeared on the Nordmark Pod\u00a0<\/a>and said he had \u201cjust finished a new Robyn album that\u2019s coming out\u201d.<\/p>\n

She also recently\u00a0previewed new music at Acne Studios\u2019 show at Paris Fashion Week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Her last studio effort \u2018Honey\u2019\u00a0was awarded four stars by\u00a0NME,\u00a0in a review that noted<\/a>: \u201cFrom an artist who conjures up so many lofty titles \u2013 pop genius being one of them \u2013 this is a record that takes an altogether different tack to cut through to the raw, complex tangle of emotion.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the years since the release of \u2018Honey\u2019, she\u2019s appeared on a few tracks with other artists, including \u2018Call My Name\u2019, a 2021 collaboration with the Swedish duo Smile<\/a>, and\u00a0a remix of<\/a>\u00a0Charli XCX\u2019<\/a>s \u2018360\u2019 with\u00a0Yung Lean<\/a> in 2024.<\/p>\n

Last year, she made a few live appearances, starting off by teaming up with David Byrne for a rendition of \u2018Dancing On My Own\u2019<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0Saturday Night Live<\/a>\u2019s 50th anniversary concert, and\u00a0later with Gracie Abrams at Lollapalooza<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In March 2025, she made a surprise appearance, joining Jamie xx on stage in Copenhagen<\/a> for a live version of their track \u2018Life\u2019, which was released on his album\u00a0\u2018In Waves\u2019<\/a>\u00a0in 2024. She previously\u00a0teamed up with him on the track at Glastonbury<\/a>.<\/p>\n

More recently Jamie xx also shared a trancey remix of \u2018Dopamine\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n
