New York City Emergency Management has issued a Cold Weather Alert, as wind chills on Friday reached as low as 14 degrees in the morning.<\/p>\n
More Local News <\/a><\/p>\n More Local News <\/a><\/p>\n The temperature has increased slightly into the afternoon, but wind chills are expected to stay in the low 20s.<\/p>\n The New York City Department of Homeless Services will issue a Code Blue as the overnight wind chill is expected to drop to near 15 degrees.
