(WIBW) &#8211; The Kansas Bureau of Investigation responded to an officer-involved shooting in Pottawatomie County Saturday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/KBIKansas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/KBIKansas\">According to the KBI<\/a>, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff\u2019s Office was responding to a shots fired called at a residence on Josie Lane in Manhattan, Kan., when a man was shot. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">KBI agents responded around 3:50 p.m. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The man was transported to a hospital for treatment. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">No officers were were injured during the incident. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">KBI agents responded to the scene around 3:50 p.m. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Pottawatomie County Sheriff\u2019s Office stated on their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PTCOSO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PTCOSO\">Facebook<\/a> that Sheriff Doug Adams requested the KBI\u2019s assistance to investigate the incident and ensure a fair and impartial investigation. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">WIBW will update this story as more information is released. <\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 WIBW.
