STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 The 7-year-old girl involved in Friday morning\u2019s devastating crash remained in critical condition Saturday morning, according to a spokesperson for the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

The NYPD revealed that the status of all the patients involved in the New Springville collision remained unchanged.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, police responded to a 911 call for a vehicle collision involving a Honda SUV and an Audi SUV<\/a> in the vicinity of Forest Hill Road and Rockland Avenue around 9:57 a.m. Friday.<\/p>\n

At that time, EMS transported the 7-year-old girl in critical condition to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze. Three adults \u2014 a 50-year-old man, a 70-year-old woman and a 90-year-old man \u2014 were also transported in stable condition.<\/p>\n

An FDNY spokesperson told the Advance\/SILive.com the adults suffered serious injuries and noted that a fifth person left the scene before being evaluated by EMS.<\/p>\n

The NYPD has been unable to provide information on which patients were in which vehicles.<\/p>\n

Both SUVs suffered extensive visible damage to their front ends as a result of the crash.<\/p>\n

The intersection was taped off and closed to traffic in the wake of the collision.<\/p>\n
