Amy Schumer is firmly back in Manhattan \u2014 and even planted those roots some time ago.<\/p>\n

Property records obtained by The Post show the comedian quietly purchased a corner condominium on Central Park West for $6.25 million a year ago in January 2025 \u2014 buying the three-bedroom, 3\u00bd-bath apartment under a trust.<\/p>\n

The deal closed roughly three months before she listed her Brooklyn Heights townhouse<\/a> \u2014 a property she would ultimately sell at a loss<\/a> amid her divorce.<\/p>\n

Schumer all but confirmed the move herself over the holidays, posting from inside the new apartment while sharing photos documenting <\/a>a roughly 50-pound weight loss<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The setting: a grand living room overlooking Central Park and the Midtown skyline.<\/p>\n

Last year, she announced a planned return to Manhattan so that she could be closer to her 6-year-old son\u2019s school. Previous to her time in Brooklyn, Schumer resided on the Upper West Side.<\/p>\n

The Upper West Side home leans hard into classic park-front appeal. The apartment features sweeping Central Park and reservoir views from every room, anchored by a long great room lined with bay windows.<\/p>\n

A newly renovated chef\u2019s kitchen sits just off the main living space, outfitted with marble counters, custom cabinetry and high-end appliances, according to the previous listing.<\/p>\n

The primary suite is set apart in its own wing with park views, a walk-in closet and a spa-style marble bathroom, while two additional bedrooms \u2014 both also facing the park \u2014 offer flexibility for guest space or a home office. A dedicated laundry room, central air, hardwood floors and a polished powder room round out the layout.<\/p>\n

The home is located in a full-service boutique building overlooking the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. Brown Harris Stevens<\/p>\n

The boutique building was designed by the late architect Costas Kondylis. It offers full-time doorman and concierge services, a fitness room, play spaces and storage, and sits directly across from the southern end of the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir.<\/p>\n

Lisa Lippman and Scott Moore of Brown Harris held the listing. Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group repped Schumer in the purchase.\u00a0Schumer, 44, did not respond to The Post\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

The purchase comes after a short, and expensive, Brooklyn chapter.<\/p>\n

Schumer hinted at the move over the holidays while posting from the new home, shortly after closing the door on her Brooklyn chapter, which ended with the $11 million sale of her \u201cMoonstruck\u201d-famous townhouse for roughly $1.25 million less than she paid. Evan Joseph<\/p>\n

In December 2025, Schumer sold her four-story townhouse at 19 Cranberry St. \u2014 the 1829-built home later featured in the film \u201cMoonstruck\u201d \u2014 for $11 million, about $1.25 million less than what she and her then-husband, chef Chris Fischer, paid in 2022. The property initially hit the market at $14 million before price cuts brought expectations back to Earth. Modlin represented that listing.<\/p>\n

The timing also coincided with major personal changes. In December, Schumer announced that she and Fischer were divorcing \u2014 an event that had been widely speculated \u2014 after seven years of marriage, writing, \u201cAmicable and all love and respect! Family forever.\u201d<\/p>\n
