NHLI via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Three games later, Fox is once again out of commission.<\/p>\n<p>The 27-year-old has posted four goals and 28 points in 30 games this season.<\/p>\n<p>He was notably <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/01\/02\/sports\/usa-hockey-shoots-down-4-nations-as-reason-for-adam-fox-olympics-snub\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">left off Team USA\u2019s Olympic roster <\/a>ahead of the 2026 Games after having been a key part of the U.S.\u2019s 4 Nations Face-Off squad.<\/p>\n<p>The news of Fox\u2019s latest injury comes as the team is <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/01\/06\/sports\/igor-shesterkin-headed-to-injured-reserve-in-telling-rangers-update\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">placing goalie Igor Shesterin on injured reserve<\/a> after he left Monday\u2019s loss against the Mammoth in the first period.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Rangers again will be without Adam Fox\u2019s services for a while.
