A knife-wielding woman stabbed another woman in the face during a Tuesday afternoon clash on board a train pulling into Grand Central, cops said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 57-year-old victim was riding a Brooklyn-bound No. 4 train approaching the 42nd Street Midtown hub around 2:10 p.m. when she got into a dispute with the attacker, who appeared to be decades her junior, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The younger woman \u2013 a complete stranger \u2013 then knifed the straphanger on the right side of her face, authorities said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

An MTA worker called 911, and the victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, her alleged assailant, described as a woman in her 20s last seen wearing gray pants and a red or burgundy jacket, fled the scene, authorities said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
No arrests had been made by Wednesday morning, and it remained unclear what the clash was over.<\/p>\n
