Giants linebacker Brian Burns was furious after the team\u2019s devastating 33-32 loss to the Broncos<\/a> on Sunday, as seen in a video by The Athletic. <\/a><\/p>\n

Burns was clearly frustrated while clenching his fists and cursing as he left the field in Denver, where the Broncos rallied with 33 points in the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear exactly what was said by Burns, but he was heard dropping an F-bomb and complaining about \u201cstupid ass s\u2013t\u201d while on his way to the Giants locker room, walking alongside backup quarterback Russell Wilson.<\/p>\n

Burns, a team captain who played lights out, was upset about the Giants\u2019 decision to drop eight into coverage on the final drive, which allowed Denver quarterback Bo Nix time to throw the ball without being pressured.<\/p>\n

Denver\u2019s Wil Lutz kicked a 39-yard field goal as time expired to give the Broncos their fourth straight win. <\/p>\n

Burns recorded two sacks, three tackles for loss, and two quarterback hits in Sunday\u2019s loss that dropped the Giants to 2-5.<\/p>\n

Burns, who took responsibility for his errors, explained the Giants gave away the game and called on his teammates to be better.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had some faults and some misses\u2026just didn\u2019t execute well enough\u2026we got put in a position where we could have won and we could have took the game, but we gave it back to them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cDabe\u2019s (Giants coach Brian Daboll) gonna take the blame and Dabe is gonna, his fault and this and that. At the end of the day, we\u2019re playing and we got to make that play.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Broncos\u2019 33 fourth-quarter points were the most in NFL history by any team that was shut out for the first three quarters, according to ESPN. <\/a><\/p>\n

The Giants lost leads of 19-0 and 26-8. <\/p>\n

Daboll chucked his headset on the sideline as time expired. <\/p>\n
