Bronx residents rallied in Claremont following a deadly shooting involving ICE agents in Minneapolis.<\/p>\n
The rally was organized by the Latino Pastoral Action Center and led by Bishop Dr. Raymond Rivera. He who prayed peace after 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good was killed in the shooting. <\/p>\n
Federal officials say the shooting was self-defense but the Minneapolis mayor has called it reckless and unnecessary.<\/p>\n
Faith leaders and advocates say Thursday’s gathering was about prayer, accountability and protecting the right to peacefully assembly. <\/p>\n
