(PIX11) \u2014 Police are searching for a suspect after a woman was stabbed in the head on board a subway train in Manhattan on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The incident happened on a southbound No. 4 train around 1:50 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/pix11.com\/news\/local-news\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:More Local News;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\"> More Local News <\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Police say the train was near Lexington Avenue and East 59th Street at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The victim, a 57-year-old woman, was involved in a verbal dispute with an unidentified individual, according to the NYPD.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">EMS transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Police say that the suspect, who fled the station, is a woman around 25 years old and 5\u20193\u201d.
