Three Filipino drag queens are set to showcase their world-class talents as they join the cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. the World Season 3.<\/p>\n

This season\u2019s “new global glamazons” include Minty Fresh (Drag Race Philippines Season 1), Melinda Verga (Canada’s Drag Race Season 4), and Zahirah Zapanta (Drag Race UK Season 6), who will compete alongside international superstars like Fontana, Gawdland, Kate Butch, Mariah Balenciaga, Serena Morena, Sminty Drop, and The Only Naomy.<\/p>\n

Minty Fresh, who placed fifth in the inaugural season of Drag Race Philippines, is back for vengeance, stating, “I was the first ever winner of a challenge and first ever receiver of a badge… and I’m also the first one to be robbed for a spot in the finale. So that’s why I’m here… to claim what’s mine.”<\/p>\n

Declaring that “Filipino drag is drag excellence,” she\u2019s determined to be the first Filipina to bring home the crown.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Fil-Canadian queen Melinda Verga is ready to bring the drama, admitting, “Melinda Verga is known for being fun, fierce, and fabulous… but also messy,” and noting her experience on Canada’s Drag Race Season 4 has her prepared for “some backstabbing and manipulation.”<\/p>\n

Rounding out the trio is Zahirah Zapanta, who previously made history as one of the first contestants of Filipino descent on Drag Race UK.<\/p>\n
