Kathy Hochul says it has been a record-breaking year for the MTA.<\/p>\n<p>She says subway ridership increased by 7% over last year, while Metro-North saw a 6% increase.<\/p>\n<p>Nearly 1.9 billion trips were taken on the MTA system, which state leaders say is the most since 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Hochul also says the subway and Metro-North broke on-time performance records.<\/p>\n<p>Be sure to watch tonight for a special in-depth report on the impact of congestion pricing at 8:30 p.m. only on News 12.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Today marks one year since New York City implemented congestion pricing.
