Asking rent was $75 per square foot.<\/p>\n<p>SEE ALSO: <a href=\"https:\/\/commercialobserver.com\/2026\/01\/gibson-dunn-renewal-metlife-building\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Law Firm Gibson Dunn Renews 362K SF in MetLife Building<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s unclear who owns the retail condominium.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis location allows Blooming Prep to expand its programming in a neighborhood well suited for education and community focused uses,\u201d Nathaniel\u00a0Mallon of Verada Retail, who represented the tenant alongside David Dubinsky, said in a statement. \u201cThe scale, layout and visibility of the space aligned with the organization\u2019s long-term goals, and will be a great addition to the neighborhood.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Catherine Merck of <a href=\"https:\/\/commercialobserver.com\/company\/cushman-wakefield\/\" title=\"Cushman &amp; Wakefield\" class=\"company-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cushman &amp; Wakefield<\/a> handled negotiations on behalf of CVS and did not immediately respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>This will be Blooming Prep\u2019s first location, with the business being registered only in May 2025. A <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/bloomingprepacademy.com\/\">website<\/a> tied to the entity appears to still be under development.<\/p>\n<p>The nine-story, mixed-use building at 168 Montague Street sits on the eastern side of the block between Montague and Remsen streets with significant frontage along Clinton Street.
