And Rep. Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Clintons have not confirmed their appearances for their subpoenaed depositions,\u201d a spokesperson for the committee told the New York Post. \u201cThey are obligated under the law to appear and we expect them to do so. If the Clintons do not appear for their depositions, the House Oversight Committee will initiate contempt of Congress proceedings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If the couple is found guilty of contempt, Congress can send US Capitol Police to arrest them and bring them before lawmakers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.3044586;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"38006416\" width=\"770\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/AP_Justice_Department_Jeffrey_Epstein_07658-76ced-0.jpg\" alt=\"Jeffrey Epstein\" class=\"wp-image-38006416\"  \/>The prolific couple are set to testify in the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein investigation. AP<\/p>\n<p>Bill Clinton has denied ever visiting Epstein\u2019s infamous island and has said he regrets his friendship with the pedophile.<\/p>\n<p>But <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/12\/19\/us-news\/epstein-files-reveal-bill-clinton-with-mystery-women-mick-jagger\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">photos of the former president <\/a>hanging out with Epstein were revealed last month when the Justice Department released new documents in the case.
