{"id":95905,"date":"2026-01-10T18:01:31","date_gmt":"2026-01-10T18:01:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/95905\/"},"modified":"2026-01-10T18:01:31","modified_gmt":"2026-01-10T18:01:31","slug":"man-34-knifed-to-death-outside-bronx-apartment-building","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/95905\/","title":{"rendered":"Man, 34, knifed to death outside Bronx apartment building"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A 34-year-old man was knifed to death following a violent clash outside a Bronx apartment building, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/2026\/01\/01\/nypd-ends-2025-with-historic-decreases-in-murders-and-shootings-uptick-in-rapes\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:police;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">police<\/a> said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The victim was on Bryant Ave. near E. 172nd St., about two blocks from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nycgovparks.org\/parks\/starlight-park\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Starlight Park;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Starlight Park<\/a> in Crotona Park East, when he was attacked at around 6:30 p.m. on Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">He was stabbed repeatedly in the neck, chest and back, cops said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">EMS rushed the victim to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sbhny.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:St. Barnabas Hospital;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">St. Barnabas Hospital<\/a>, but he couldn\u2019t be saved. His name was not immediately released as cops track down his family members.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The attacker ran off. No arrests had been made as of late Saturday morning.
