WASHINGTON \u2014 The US used a powerful mystery weapon that brought Venezuelan soldiers to their knees, \u201cbleeding through the nose\u201d and vomiting blood during the daring raid to capture dictator Nicolas Maduro<\/a>, according to a witness account posted\u00a0Saturday on X<\/a> by the White House press secretary.<\/p>\n

In a jaw-dropping interview, the guard described how American forces wiped out hundreds of fighters without losing a single soldier, using technology unlike anything he has ever seen \u2014 or heard.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were on guard, but suddenly all our radar systems shut down without any explanation,\u201d the guard said. \u201cThe next thing we saw were drones, a lot of drones, flying over our positions. We didn\u2019t know how to react.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moments later, a handful of helicopters appeared \u2014 \u201cbarely eight,\u201d by his count \u2014\u00a0deploying\u00a0what he estimated were just 20 US troops into the area.<\/p>\n

But those few men, he said, came armed with something far more powerful than guns.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey were technologically very advanced,\u201d the guard recalled. \u201cThey didn\u2019t look like anything we\u2019ve fought against before.\u201d<\/p>\n

What ensued, he said, was not a battle, but a slaughter.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were hundreds, but we had no chance,\u201d he said. \u201cThey were shooting with such precision and speed; it felt like each soldier was firing 300 rounds per minute.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then came the weapon that still haunts him.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt one point, they launched something; I don\u2019t know how to describe it,\u201d he said. \u201cIt was like a very intense sound wave. Suddenly I felt like my head was exploding from the inside.\u201d<\/p>\n

The effects were immediate and horrific.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe all started bleeding from the nose,\u201d he said. \u201cSome were vomiting blood. We fell to the ground, unable to move. We couldn\u2019t even stand up after that sonic weapon \u2014 or whatever it was.\u201d<\/p>\n

The White House did not immediately respond to a question regarding whether Karoline Leavitt\u2019s<\/a> sharing of the post \u2014 captioned, \u201cStop what you are doing and read this\u2026\u201d \u2014 indicated the administration was verifying the veracity of the eyewitness account.<\/p>\n

An estimated 100 Venezuelan security forces were killed in the Jan. 3 attack<\/a>, according to the country\u2019s Interior Ministry.<\/p>\n

It is unclear if any of those were caused by the mystery weapon.<\/p>\n

The outmatched defenders were helpless as the small US unit wiped them out, the guard said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose twenty men, without a single casualty, killed hundreds of us,\u201d he claimed. \u201cWe had no way to compete with their technology, with their weapons. I swear, I\u2019ve never seen anything like it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The US has had so-called directed energy weapons technology for years, an ex-US intelligence source told The Post, noting that some systems have\u00a0\u00a0the capability to produce at least some of the symptoms, including \u201cbleeding,\u00a0inability to move or function, pain and burning.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u00a0can\u2019t say all of those symptoms.\u00a0But yes,\u00a0some,\u201d the source said. \u201cAnd we\u2019ve had versions for decades.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the\u00a0raid, the message couldn\u2019t be more clear: Don\u2019t tread on Uncle Sam, the Maduro\u00a0loyalist said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sending a warning to anyone who thinks they can fight the United States,\u201d he said. \u201cThey have no idea what they\u2019re capable of. After what I saw, I never want to be on the other side of that again. They\u2019re not to be messed with.\u201d<\/p>\n

The guard said the raid<\/a> has already sent shockwaves across Latin America \u2014 especially after President Donald Trump recently warned<\/a> that Mexico is now \u2018on the list.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone is already talking about this,\u201d he said. \u201cNo one wants to go through what we went through.
