\u201cHome Alone\u201d star Daniel Stern was busted for allegedly trying to pick up an escort in the middle of the holiday season. <\/p>\n
The alleged horned-up Stern, best known for playing Marv Murchins in the beloved 1990 Christmas film, was given a citation for soliciting a prostitute at a hotel in Camarillo, California, on Dec. 10, TMZ reported.<\/a><\/p>\n Stern, 68, was not arrested in the case. Getty Images<\/p>\n The broken-up romp fest occurred days before it was revealed that Stern had been commissioned to help decorate the famed home where the movie was filmed in the Chicago suburb of Winnetka, Illinois.<\/p>\n \u201cI got a call from the people who own the\u00a0\u2018Home Alone\u2019\u00a0house,\u201d Stern, 68,\u00a0told People<\/a>\u00a0during an interview published on Christmas Eve. \u201cAnd I\u2019m a sculptor, they asked if I would do a sculpture for the house.
