A Colombian pop star and his entire band died in a plane crash before a show Saturday \u2014 after he revealed a series of dreams in which he predicted that his aircraft would kill him.<\/p>\n

Yeison Jimenez, 34, was flying to a concert in Colombia\u2019s second-largest city, Medellin, on Saturday when the light aircraft carrying him and his musicians crashed and burst into flames, moments after take-off from a small airfield in the central Colombian town of Paipa,\u00a0el Colombiano reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Five others were killed in the crash, including the singer\u2019s photographer, Weisman Mora, who had posted a poignant final video of the group just before take-off at around 4 p.m. local time.<\/p>\n

Jimenez, one of the most well-known folk music artists in Colombia, had recently revealed his chilling dreams about dying in a plane crash.<\/p>\n

\u201cI dreamt three times that we were going to have a plane crash and that I had to tell the pilot to turn around. And when he arrived, he\u2019d say, \u2018Oh, boss, thank goodness you told me because something went wrong, but I fixed it, get in,’\u201d Jimenez said in an\u00a0interview with Colombian TV station Caracol<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose were the dreams. And in one of the dreams, I did dreamt that we had died and that we were on the news. And it was the third time I dreamt that. God gave me three signs, and I didn\u2019t understand them, I didn\u2019t get them,\u201d Jimenez said.<\/p>\n

In the same interview, he revealed that he had been involved in an emergency landing recently involving the same aircraft, 10 days before his son was due to be born.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe plane takes off, and as it takes off, I feel something go puff, puff,\u201d he said, adding that he had felt the aircraft start rocking.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was no speed, we weren\u2019t climbing,\u201d Jimenez said, noting that his cameraman had spotted water coming out of the engine.<\/p>\n

Colombia\u2019s Civil Aviation Authority confirmed the crash was under investigation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Civil Aeronautics Authority deeply regrets the accident that occurred in Paipa, Boyac\u00e1, in which six occupants of the N325FA aircraft died, including the artist Yeison Jim\u00e9nez.
