Allow Jennifer Lawerence<\/a> to fill you with joy.<\/p>\n

The “Hunger Games” actress was a vision on the red carpet at the 2026 Golden Globes<\/a>, hosted by Nikki Glaser<\/a> at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Jan. 11. (Click here to see all the celebrity arrivals<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Lawrence looked effortlessly elegant in a sheer full-length gown with floral detail by Givenchy, completing her ensemble with a matching clutch.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s sure to be a memorable evening for the 35-year-old, who is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture \u2013 Drama for her role alongside Robert Pattinson in “Die My Love,” going up against fellow nominees Jessie Buckley of “Hamnet,” Renate Reinsve of “Sentimental Value,” Julia Roberts of “After the Hunt”, Tessa Thompson of “Hedda” and Eva Victor of “Sorry, Baby.”<\/p>\n

And the role in the Lynne Ramsay-directed film was a particularly affecting one for Lawrence, because she could relate to her character\u2019s journey as a new mother after welcoming son Cy, 3, and a second baby in 2025 with husband Cooke Maroney.<\/p>\n

“As a mom, especially when I was a new, first-time mom, my community and having a mom community was so vital,” she shared with E! News in November<\/a>. “Having a community is so, so important and just being able to check in with other women, like, ‘Is this normal?'”<\/p>\n

Lawrence drew on that experience when playing the character Grace, who struggles with postpartum depression.<\/p>\n

“It was really easy for me to see and follow that path of isolation and how much that would affect my mental well-being,” she explained. “I had more information than I would have if I wasn’t a mom ’cause I have the perspective from the child, which I just wouldn’t have had before if I wasn’t thinking about another person’s nervous system all day, every day, I just wouldn’t be aware.”<\/p>\n

Becoming a mom also changed how the Oscar winner approaches her career.<\/p>\n

“It’s not just when I’m shooting a movie,” she said, noting that her kids even affect what time of the day she reads a script. “It just changes everything.”<\/p>\n
