STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 Makhiye Washington poured in a career-high 29 points and the Warriors pulled away with a big fourth-quarter en route to registering the non-league victory over the visiting Mustangs Saturday in St. George.<\/p>\n
Washington, who surpassed his previous high by three points, finished with a season-high four three-pointers and canned 7 of 8 free throws for Curtis.<\/p>\n
Curtis Tiu (6 for 6 free throws), Jayden Melendez and Jayden Faulkner added 10 points apiece for the Warriors, who improved to 3-12 overall after winning for the second time in three games. <\/p>\n
Aiden Johnson (22 points) and Anderson Reyes Almonte (12 points) paced Truman, which dropped to 12-2 overall.<\/p>\n
Washington, Melendez and Faulkner combined for 35 points through three quarters to help give the hosts a 41-37 advantage heading into the final eight minutes.<\/p>\n
The Warriors, who finished the game by sinking 15 of 16 free-throw attempts, were a perfect 10 for 10 from the charity stripe in the final quarter. Washington tallied 12 and Tiu added six in the last quarter as head coach Dwayne Archbold\u2019s troops held on for the victory.<\/p>\n

Eagle\u2019s Hunter Frazier finished with 30 points and 23 rebounds while Lee Murhion Robinson (19 points), Donte Cromwell (15 points) and Dylan Leon (14 points) also finished in double digits. <\/p>\n
Eagle sits in first place in the PSAL 4A Brooklyn-Staten Island I division with an 8-0 mark (11-2 overall). The Brooklyn school boasts non-league victories over CHSAA powers Cardinal Hayes and St. Francis Prep. <\/p>\n

BROOKLYN, N.Y. \u2014 Sophomore Faulkner finished with a double-double as the Warriors upended the Dutchmen in double OT for the PSAL 4A triumph last week.<\/p>\n
The 6-foot-5 Faulkner scored a career-high 25 points, including a 9-for-10 performance from the charity stripe, and also grabbed 11 boards for Curtis.<\/p>\n
Tiu, meanwhile, also scored his career high with 21 points while Washington and Amare Gaskin added 13 and 12 points, respectively, for the Warriors.<\/p>\n

BROOKLYN, N.Y. \u2014 Mehki Hines recorded a double-double, but the Raiders found themselves behind the eight ball early and never recovered as they dropped the non-league decision to the host Golden Knights on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Hines, a senior forward finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds while Andrew Lawrence added 10 points for the Raiders.<\/p>\n
