A pair of teens, including one who was already wanted in connection with a shooting in the Bronx, were busted for bringing guns to their New York City high schools on Monday.<\/p>\n

First, a 17-year-old male student was found with a firearm inside of the Harlem Renaissance High School shortly after 10 a.m., police said.<\/p>\n

Sources said the teen was being sought in connection with reports of shots fired at an intersection near the Bronx Museum of the Arts on Dec. 27.<\/p>\n

He was charged with criminal possession of a firearm following the Monday bust, the NYPD said. <\/p>\n

Two teenage students were arrested in separate incidents for bringing firearms to their high school. Gregory P. Mango<\/p>\n

Then, at 11:10 a.m., police descended onto Long Island City High School<\/a> and nabbed a 15-year-old student who had a gun hidden in his backpack, the NYPD said.<\/p>\n

Sources told The Post that an eagle-eyed staff member noticed that the student was armed and notified the school safety agent, who in turn reported it to police.<\/p>\n
