{"id":98898,"date":"2026-01-13T17:19:13","date_gmt":"2026-01-13T17:19:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/98898\/"},"modified":"2026-01-13T17:19:13","modified_gmt":"2026-01-13T17:19:13","slug":"highest-graded-jets-by-pro-football-focus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/98898\/","title":{"rendered":"Highest Graded Jets by Pro Football Focus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In its first season under coordinator Chris Banjo, the Jets special teams were rated as the fourth-best unit in the NFL (90.6) by Pro Football Focus, headlined by WR <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorkjets.com\/team\/players-roster\/isaiah-williams-2\/\" title=\"Isaiah Williams\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Isaiah Williams<\/a> (90.9) and RB <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorkjets.com\/team\/players-roster\/kene-nwangwu\/\" title=\"Kene Nwangwu\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kene Nwangwu<\/a> (90.6) as PFF&#8217;s No. 1 and No. 2 highest returner grades (min. 20% snaps).<\/p>\n<p>The duo combined for 3 return touchdowns &#8212; a kickoff and 2 punts &#8212; and the Jets led the NFL in total return yards (2,666) as a team.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, first-year starting punter <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorkjets.com\/team\/players-roster\/austin-mcnamara\/\" title=\"Austin McNamara\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Austin McNamara<\/a> (90.3) was the second-highest graded punter by PFF. McNamara, the special teams player of the month for November, landed 32 punts inside the 20-yard-line, the second most in the NFL.<\/p>\n<p>McNamara was named to PFF&#8217;s second team All-Pro while Nwangwu and Williams were named to the first team.<\/p>\n<p>Here are other Jets players who received high grades from PFF.<\/p>\n<p>No Rookie Wall for Armand Membou<br \/>Rookie RT <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorkjets.com\/team\/players-roster\/armand-membou\/\" title=\"Armand Membou\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Armand Membou<\/a>, the No. 7 overall selection in last April&#8217;s NFL Draft, started every game for the Green &amp; White during his rookie season and was the second-highest rated rookie offensive lineman (min. 50% of snaps) by PFF (73.3).<\/p>\n<p>Membou, out of Missouri, posted his best single-week grade in Week 1 (89.0) against the Steelers. He matched up with All-Pro edge defender T.J. Watt during the season-opener and did not surrender a single sack or pressure, according to PFF.<\/p>\n<p>Membou finished the regular season as one of just 10 tackles leaguewide to play 1,000-plus snaps and earn a 70.0-plus PFF overall grade.
