Heavily armed federal agents rammed down the door of actor Timothy Busfield\u2019s upstate New York home in a dramatic raid on Tuesday \u2014 less than an hour after he turned himself into police<\/a> in Albuquerque on child sex abuse charges, according to a report.<\/p>\n

At least ten US Marshal\u2019s officers from the New York Regional Fugitive Task Force busted through the front door with a battering ram at the \u201cWest Wing\u201d star\u2019s residence in Highland Lake, about 20 minutes from the Pennsylvania border in the Catskill Mountains,\u00a0the Daily Mail reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The officers, wearing helmets and armed with assault rifles and riot gear, searched the inside of the house for about ten minutes but found nobody inside. They then moved the rear of the property and searched an RV parked there and an outhouse, according to the outlet.<\/p>\n

They did not appear to take anything with them when they left the property about 20 minutes after arriving.<\/p>\n

Less than an hour before the New York raid some 2,000 miles away, Busfield<\/a> had turned himself in to the Albuquerque Police Department after cops alleged he engaged in unlawful sexual conduct with 11-year-old twin boys while directing the Fox show \u201cThe Cleaning Lady\u201d in 2024.<\/p>\n

The \u201cField of Dreams\u201d actor has denied the accusations, maintaining that he \u201cdid not do anything to those little boys\u201d in a video message his lawyer shared with TMZ.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are all lies and I did not do anything to those little boys,\u201d the 68-year-old said. \u201cAnd I\u2019m going to fight it. I\u2019m going to fight it with a great team, and I\u2019m going to be exonerated. I know I am because this is all so wrong and all lies.\u201d<\/p>\n

Busfield, who is married to former child actress Melissa Gilbert<\/a>, faces two counts of criminal misconduct against a minor \u2014 one for each child \u2014 according to a warrant issued on Friday by New Mexico Police.<\/p>\n

The alleged abuse began in 2022, when the boys were 7 years old, according to court documents.<\/p>\n

A criminal investigation began in 2024 when a physician notified police about suspected sexual abuse after examining one of the children at the University of New Mexico Hospital, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Busfield\u2019s lawyer, Larry Stein, told The Post the disturbing allegations were driven by revenge.<\/p>\n

Stein claimed the boys\u2019 mother told an actress on the New Mexico set she wanted payback after her sons were cut from the show\u2019s final season.<\/p>\n
