OLD FORGE, Pa. (WOLF) — On Tuesday, crews were on scene at the Moosic Road Railroad crossing in Old Forge, tending to the 23 cars that were derailed late Monday morning.

A crane worked to clear as much debris from the scene as possible from the tracks.

According to emergency management officials, eight loaded railcars and 15 empty railcars were affected.

Officials confirmed no hazardous materials were involved and there was no risk to public safety or the environment.
