The 24th annual Riot of Reading returns to Mission Library this weekend to mark Literacy Week.
The event is scheduled for Saturday (Jan. 31) at Mission Library from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Mission Literacy in Motion, a local non-profit that promotes the growth of literacy in the area, will once again host the event.
“Families are invited to enjoy a fun, interactive celebration of reading and literacy,” Literacy in Motion said in a social media post.
The free event is open to children of all ages and will feature music, dance, stories, puppets and a special performance by Norden the Magician.
