READING, Pa. – An NFL legend will be coming to Reading to support children in the city.

The Olivet Boys & Girls Club has announced that its spring fundraising gala on March 30 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Reading will feature keynote speaker Herm Edwards.

Edwards played in the NFL for 10 seasons, mostly with the Philadelphia Eagles. He went on to serve as the head coach for the New York Jets, the Kansas City Chiefs and Arizona State before taking his talent to television as an NFL analyst for ESPN.

Olivet’s Leaders & Legends Fundraising Dinner will also include performances by Olivet youth, special honorees and the announcement of the organization’s “2026 Youth of the Year.”

The club says the event supports its children and also celebrates the community leaders who help them thrive.
