READING, Pa. – Will Reading’s groundhog give us an early spring or six more weeks of winter?
We’ll find out on Monday, Feb. 2, at 7 a.m. when Patty Pagoda makes its appearance in Reading to reveal whether or not she sees her shadow.
The 21st annual event was originally scheduled to take place at the Pagoda, but it will now take place in front of the “Reading Pagoda” sign in the 800 block of Penn Street, due to possible concerns about road conditions on the mountain and forecasted wind chill.
The public is invited to attend.
