Law enforcement officers are investigating the shooting of a 3-year old in Olyphant, according to Lackawanna County District Attorney Brian Gallagher.
Officers were called to 633 Lackawanna Avenue at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The child was transported to the hospital for treatment.
“There is no further threat to the public,” Gallagher said.
