The 21st annual Patty Pagoda Groundhog Day observance is being moved from the Pagoda parking lot to the 800 block of Penn Street in Reading. The event takes place Monday at 7 a.m.

Patty Pagoda will make her annual weather prediction at sunrise by the Reading Pagoda sign along Penn Street. The public is invited to attend.

Organizers said they opted to move the event due to concerns about road conditions on Mount Penn and continued frigid weather in the forecast.

The event is presented by the Foundation for the Reading Pagoda and Pagoda-Skyline, Inc. To learn more, contact Mike Reinert at miker@wfmz.com or 610-781-1808; or Joey Miranda at jam101671@gmail.com or 610-401-5994.
