The Sight Center of North West Pennsylvania launched a new initiative on Saturday to help people with diabetes.
They hosted a Discovery session for community members to learn more about diabetes with funds from Diverse Erie.
The event was held at the Greater Calvary F.G.B. Church in the afternoon.
Attendees got guidance about preventing diabetes, learning how to live with it, and how to maintain a health lifestyle.
The Sight Center hopes to host more of these events in the future to help educate the community.
