Officials said one person was taken to the hospital following a crash along a busy road along Pittsburgh’s South Shore Saturday night. Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 was on the scene along West Carson Street, heading towards the Fort Pitt Bridge, around 10 p.m., where a vehicle with heavy front-end damage was seen being towed away. Officials at the scene said West Carson was temporarily shut down while crews responded. It has since been reopened. We’re told the driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
