Scranton Counseling Center recently received a $7,000 donation from the Robert H. Spitz Foundation to help defray the cost of training forensic department staff in the Triple P Parenting Program. Forensic caseworkers will use this training to work with low-income families to increase their parenting capacity by teaching appropriate parenting methods that will foster more positive home environments.
