S. WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. – If Phil is not your cup of tea, and you prefer a more localized forecaster, there are several groundhogs in our area making their picks Monday.
Yahdee the stuffed groundhog will make its way down the Jordan River to the Wehr’s Dam in South Whitehall Monday morning.
As people wait for Yahdee to make a prediction, members of Groundhog Lodge Number 16 will lead Dutch songs in hopes of an early spring.
Yahdee’s prediction is set for 7 a.m.
Also, in Berks County, Patty Pagoda will make her forecast from the 800 block of Penn Street in Reading.
There are a bunch of other groundhogs across Pennsylvania that we are following as they make their predictions Monday morning.
In Montgomery County, Harleysville Hank will give his forecast.
In Lancaster County, Octorio Orphie, Mount Joy Minnie, and Mount Parker are all set to make their predictions.
