SALISBURY TWP., Pa. – He’s a central Pennsylvania-based artist who first emerged in 2015, and now he’s taking fans by storm. We’re so excited to have Michael Wavves in the house on this Music Monday, along with Jimmy Gagliardi on guitar.
Michael said he wrote a poem about love in a high school English class. In college, he turned writing poetry into writing songs, and decided he wanted to make it into a career.Â
He said he is a teacher as well as a musician.
He describes his music style as “nostalgic Emo pop.” The lyrics of his songs are emotionally driven, he said.
As an artist, he said he wants to promote being yourself, being authentic, and knowing we are not alone in life.
He is working on an album called “Hometown.” He is from Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He now lives in Lititz.
