READING, Pa. – The City of Reading announced today that snow removal operations continue, with Public Works crews working extended hours to clear priority corridors, Snow Emergency routes, and neighborhood streets.
Public Works crews are actively clearing snow in the following areas:
200 block of N. 5th Street
1100 block of Perkiomen Avenue
300 block of Spring Street
400 block of Centre Avenue
800 block of Walnut Street
Additionally, the following streets will be posted “No Parking” for snow removal operations tomorrow, February 3:
N. 13th Street – 1000 through 1900 blocks
N. 5th Street – 200 through 1400 blocks
Spring Street – 400 through 1200 blocks
Centre Avenue – 400 through 900 blocks
Residents are strongly encouraged to remove vehicles from posted streets during scheduled snow removal operations as vehicles left in posted “No Parking” zones may be ticketed or towed.
Officials say the schedule is subject to change and based on weather conditions and the pace of operations.
