Four teens are being charged in connection with an armed robbery on an Allentown street.
City Police Captain of Administration Kyle Pammer said city officers around 4:15 p.m. Saturday responded to the 600 block of Greenleaf Street for the reported incident.
The victim reported being held at gunpoint by a group of male suspects who stole his personal property. The group then fled the scene in a vehicle, Pammer said.
Investigators were able to obtain a vehicle description and tracked the car to Bethlehem. Bethlehem officers later located the vehicle and obtained a search warrant.
Bethlehem officers seized the victim’s property and a firearm from the car believed to have been used in the incident, police said. Four juvenile boys, ages 16-17, suspected to be involved in the alleged robbery, were then arrested without incident.
The teens have each been charged with felony robbery; felony criminal use of a communications facility; and misdemeanor theft, as well as firearms offenses.
