Brayden Rose scored 37 points, including the 1,000th of his career, and had 10 rebounds to lead No. 1 Riverside to an 87-35 victory over Honesdale in a Lackawanna League Division II boys basketball game Monday at Riverside.

The Riverside junior entered the game needing 34 points to reach the milestone. He hit 12 shots, including three 3-pointers, and went 10 for 10 from the free throw line.

Nico Antoniacci added 21 points, and Michael Schimefenig chipped in 12 for the Vikings (18-1, 10-1).

Gavin Briggs led the Hornets (7-12, 3-8) with 12 points.
