READING, Pa. – It was “game day” for soup lovers.
The Opportunity House held its 24th Annual Souper Bowl fundraiser at the DoubleTree in Reading Monday.
This year’s event featured soup from 26 restaurants.
They also had a silent auction for handcrafted bowls by local artists.
Opportunity House provides emergency shelter for more than 700 men, women, families and veterans each year.
