DNC Announces New $500K Investment into New Jersey, Virginia, and Pennsylvania Democratic Coordinated Campaigns to Get Out the Vote

Total DNC investment for 2025 elections surpasses $7 million

Today, two weeks from Election Day, the DNC announced a new $500k investment into the New Jersey, Virginia, and Pennsylvania Democratic coordinated campaigns to help “get out the vote” ahead of the critical New Jersey and Virginia Gubernatorial elections, along with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court retention elections. This new investment is in addition to the DNC’s $3 million investment in the Virginia Democratic Coordinated Campaign, $3 million investment in the New Jersey Democratic Coordinated Campaign, and the six-figure investment in the Pennsylvania Democratic Coordinated Campaign.

In total, the DNC’s investments in elections this November have now surpassed $7 million.

Democrats have the momentum. In 2025 alone, Democrats or Democratically-aligned candidates have won or overperformed in 45 out of 46 key elections by an average of  15 points. Now, with critical elections coming up on November 4th, the DNC is leaving nothing to chance by helping the coordinated campaigns in Virginia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania deploy their biggest-ever ground games in an off-year election.

Today’s $500K GOTV investment will turbocharge on-the-ground voter contact efforts in the final stretch, including: 

Hiring and deploying field staff across Virginia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Freeing up funds for paid advertising, like direct mail to voters.
Funding for voter contact efforts in the field.
Expanding our reach to key constituencies that we lost ground with in the November 2024 elections — such as Black, Latino, and AANHPI voters who make up a large share of New Jersey, Virginia, and Pennsylvania’s populations.

DNC Chair Ken Martin issued the following statement:

“At this DNC, there’s no such thing as an off year anymore because every election counts. For Democrats, this November will set the tone for years to come, and it’s our moment to show Donald Trump and the Republicans that their time in power is coming to an end. With early voting in full swing, the DNC is leaving it all on the field to ensure Democrats up and down the ballot win in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey on November 4th. In Virginia and New Jersey, Abigail Spanberger and Mikie Sherrill are fighting to lower costs, challenge Trump’s economic trainwreck, and put the working class ahead of the billionaire class. Meanwhile, Winsome Earle-Sears and Jack Ciattarelli are begging for Donald Trump’s approval while completely ignoring struggling families. And in Pennsylvania, the Commonwealth will choose if billionaires like Jeff Yass can buy the Courts or if an independent judiciary will stay in control. The DNC is all-in on hiring field staff across these states because the stakes couldn’t be higher. We’re going to spend the next two weeks fighting for every single vote.”
