Lower Saucon Township Police released this store security photo of the suspect in late January. Anyone with information or who can identify the man is asked to submit a tip through Crimewatch or contact Ofc. Zach Pritchard at 610-317-6110 or zpritchard@lowersaucontownship.org.
Lower Saucon Township Police are still asking for the public’s help identifying a man who they say used a counterfeit $100 bill to pay for food at a local restaurant late last year.
According to a post published on the department’s Crimewatch site, the man used the phony money to pay for his bill at Feasta Pizza at 1826 Leithsville Road, Hellertown, around 8:15 p.m. Dec. 9.
Police have shared two surveillance images of the man in which he is wearing a face mask. An image uploaded to the Crimewatch site on Jan. 30 is clearer and appears to have been taken inside an adjacent Pennsylvania wine and spirits store.
Anyone with information or who can identify the man is being asked to submit a tip via the department’s Crimewatch Tipline or contact Ofc. Zach Pritchard at 610-317-6110 or zpritchard@lowersaucontownship.org.
“Your help is crucial in preventing further incidents of counterfeit currency use in our community,” police said. “We appreciate your cooperation and vigilance in keeping Lower Saucon Township safe.”
