Demolition of former Quinn’s Supermarket begins in downtown Pittston

Crews began demolishing the former supermarket Monday morning.

PITTSTON, Pa. — Demolition is underway on a former grocery store in Pittston.

Crews began razing the Quinn’s Supermarket building along Boulevard Avenue Monday morning.

City officials say the demolition will make way for a multi-level parkade project, including office and retail space that could include another supermarket in the future.
