Edward J. Budney
OBITUARY
Edward J. Budney, 88, of Scranton, died Friday at Green Ridge Care Center. He was born in Scranton and was the son of the late Walter and Blanche Scep Budney. His wife, the former Jacquelyn Oyler, preceded him in death.
Ed was a graduate of Scranton Tech High School and was a member of the Teamsters Union, #229.
Ed loved to RV, go on cruises, and spend his winters in Florida with his wife, Jackie. Eddie loved to save money, clipping coupons and searching for deals. Friends and family joked that the more he saved, the more Jackie spent
Surviving are his son, Richard and wife Kim of Scranton, a daughter, Melissa and wife Casey of Lancaster, four grandchildren, Kylie, Kirstin, Bryce and Connor, a great-grandchild, Haley and a brother, Richard of Archbald. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Elaine Davis and Peggy Budney.
The family will have a private service.
