SHILLINGTON, Pa. – The Governor Mifflin girls trying to hold off Reading for the two-seed in the upcoming BCIAA playoffs as they host the Red Knight on Monday night.

The Mustangs out to a fast start with 21 first quarter points as Bella Super and Ja’Tiyah Case combine for 13 points in the opening eight minutes.

Reading would cut the deficit to single digits in the fourth, but Governor Mifflin would hold them off from the foul line in a 57-51 victory.

Super finished with 26 points and Case added 14. Xiana Beatty scored 14 for the Red Knights.
