BERKS COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Authorities in Berks County are asking the public for help gathering information in a death investigation.
Officers from the Lower Heidelberg Township Police Department were called around 7:11 p.m. Saturday to a home at 616 Fairmont Ave. in Wernersville after receiving reports of an unresponsive female.
Officers arrived on scene to find the homeowner, identified as Candice Riehl, 53, dead in the residence.
The police department is now investigating the circumstances of the death alongside detectives from the Berks County District Attorney’s Office.
