While Eagles fans won’t have the joy of watching their team end another dynasty this year, it does mean that heading out into the City and enjoying the game with great food and great friends is at least going to provide a fun Sunday night. We’ve found some of the best options for those looking to go out and enjoy the game this weekend.

The heavy hitters

It all depends on the kind of night you want. If it’s a busy atmosphere you’re after, then the likes of Stateside Live, Chickie’s and Pete’s, and even McGillin’s will provide just that. Chickies and Petes is renowned for its crab fries and wide array of screens, and isn’t too far from the Stadiums/Stateside Live.

If you fancy a night at a smaller bar, you can’t go wrong with McGillin’s. As Philadelphia’s oldest tavern, it gives fans a great selection of food and drinks while providing a pub-like atmosphere, which offers a very different viewing experience to a packed out Sateside Live. That’s not to say that McGillin’s won’t be loud, it’s Philly! But it feels more like a Pub and less like a night out. It all depends on your preference, but it’s going to be impossible to have a bad experience at any of these options! You just might want to get there early to avoid any disappointment, or ring in advance to see availability and options for bigger tables etc.
