Mitchell R. Dieffenbach
OBITUARY
Mitchell R. Dieffenbach, 64, of Robesonia, passed away on Sunday, February 1st, 2026. He was the loving husband of Brenda (Roof) Dieffenbach.
Born in Reading to the late Douglas and Phyllis (Lape) Dieffenbach, Mitch graduated from Tulpehocken High School in 1979. He worked as a sawman for Reading Bakery Systems for many years with later stints at Dollar General and Sonoco Products before retiring in 2024.
Mitch was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, collecting jerseys and memorabilia to support his team. He also loved to hunt and fish, and could be found grilling on his Blackstone most evenings. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, often following along from miles away.
Left to treasure his memory are his wife, Brenda; their children, Brandon Dieffenbach (wife Leigh) of Waxhaw, NC and Mandy Hrezik (husband Chris) of West Reading, PA; their grandchildren, Somer Vuksanovich (husband Jay), Harleigh Dieffenbach, Kameron Dieffenbach, Hayden Dieffenbach and Landon Dieffenbach, and great grandchildren, Ember and June Vuksanovich. He is also survived by his brothers, Rodney and Lynn Dieffenbach, and his sisters, Elise Dieffenbach and Leslie Hafer (husband Brad). He was predeceased by his sister, Donna Weller.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 at 2:30pm at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, Inc, 243 W Penn Ave, Wernersville, PA 19565, with visitation from 1:30pm until the start of service. Condolences may be expressed at www.lammandwitman.com
