Debra A. Linton (Kalnoski)

OBITUARY

Debra A. Linton (Kalnoski), 71, of Reading, passed January 31st in Reading Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of the late Milton Herbert Linton.

Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley C. and Miriam R. (Wishnieski) Kalnoski.

Debra graduated from Holy Name High School and knew early she had a passion for caring for others. She began her career as a candy striper at Community General Hospital while attending nursing school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Her career in nursing spanned over forty years specializing in senior living care.

Debra enjoyed cooking and sharing her recipes with her friends and family. Debra enjoyed traveling with her husband, gardening, spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Debra lived a deeply spiritual life, offering daily prayers, not only for herself but for the peace, healing, and well-being of everyone she loved, met, and even those she never met personally.

She is survived by her children; daughter, Melissa (Linton) Nye, wife of Robert R. Nye; daughter, Amy (Linton) Wahl, wife of Robert Wahl; daughter, Jennifer (Linton) Myers; son, Michael Linton, husband of Lori (Singerman) Linton. There are also eleven grandchildren; Nolan, Gavin, Ethan and Declan Nye, Leo and Lucy Myers, Caleb, Connor, and Hannah Linton, and Aidan and Hailey Wahl. She is also survived by a brother, Michael Kalnoski, husband of Patricia. She was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn (Kalnoski) Gerloff.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 7th at 11 AM in St. Catherine of Siena RCC. A viewing will be held at Henninger Funeral Home, 229 N. 5th St., Reading on Saturday from 8 to 10 AM. Eulogies will begin at 9:30 at the funeral home. Procession to Mass will depart promptly following the Eulogies.

Interment will follow Mass in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
