PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Lunar New Year celebrations are happening across our area.
On Friday, local students learned about the Chinese holiday through music.
Students took to the stage at Universal Creighton Charter School in Philadelphia’s Lawncrest neighborhood.
They performed traditional songs and dances.
Lunar New Year is a multi-day festival celebrating Asian culture, and the arrival of spring.
